Are you ready?
No, I am not. Actually I've been considering whether should I go for this round of cabin crew recruitment. I've already done up all the documentation and took a new photo. And in the end, we decided to forgo this opportunity. Perhaps, chances will come by again when ORD is nearing, and when I'm better prepared, mentally.
I chanced upon a blog of a cabin crew who just started flying not long ago. And i began to realise, all this is true. Its not a job for the faint-hearted. Underneath the glam of the trolley dolly, lies homesickness, loneliness, pressure and stress. After having a chance to visit some of the world's most talk about cities, nothing can be compared to home. And within 3 months of training, 2 of the latter's colleagues have quit. They simply couldn't take it anymore.
We may have certain dreams or wants in our lives. But often, we only look at the surface and ignore the unbearable consequences it maybe tagged with.
